TARNATION. Disturbing, entertaining and sensational documentary about the director Jonathan Caouette and his difficult childhod. Edited in iMovie with a budget of just over two hundred dollars, the film was this year's sensation ath Sundance and Cannes festivals. Awarded best film at London Film Festival.
FALLEN ANGEL: GRAM PARSONS. Last screening of the documentary about legendary Gram Parsons. The director Gandulf Hennig will be prsent for a Q/A after the screening. Tickets available.

The Danish artist Nikolaj Bendix Skyum Larsen will speak about his video project before the screening of Portrait in Time Thursday night at Filmens Hus. Portrait In Time is a portrait of Chatham, Kent; a town and community that overthe last 20 years has faced many changes to its identity and way of life.

Appleseed director in Oslo

Sjinji Aramaki, the director of the fantastic animé Appleseed, will be the guest of Oslo International Film Festival. He will be present for a Q/A after the screening Monday night.
Ticket sales opens the 9th of November.

Tickets to screenings at Tancred and Lillebil are on sale at Filmens Hus daily between 12.00 and 21.00 or till last screening starts.
Tickets for and Cinema Neuf can be bought 1/2 hour prior to screenings at the theatre, or at Filmens Hus.
Festival passes are sold at all venues, as well as Saga cinema.

Special Screening/Concert: Lambchop performs live with new music to the screening om F. W. Murnau's masterpiece Sunrise.

Rikskonsertene proudly presents the American band Lambchop live on stage with their new music to screenings of the silent film classic Sunrise, directed by F. W. Murnau. The Norwegian part of the European Tour will start at Chateau Neuf in Oslo on 14 November, as a special preview screening of the Oslo International Film Festival (18-28 November).
Murnau's psychological thriller Sunrise, made in America in 1927, is still considered one of the greatest masterpieces in film history. After his success in his native Germany, with marvellous films like Nosferatu, The Last Laugh and Faust, Murnau was invited to Fox Studio in the US, which gave him full freedom to create his masterpiece Sunrise.

Raw Youth opens Oslo International Film Festival

Raw Youth, by Norwegian director Margreth Olin, will open the 14th Oslo International Film Festival November 18. Raw Youth follows students from the 10th grade at Hauketo Continuation School, East Oslo, the last months before the exams. The film is one of the new documentaries produced by Zentropa Film, following Lars von Trier's Documentarist code for "Dogumentarism" .
